Volume 169, No. 69 covering the 1st Session of the 118th Congress (2023 - 2024) was published by the Congressional Record.

The Congressional Record is a unique source of public documentation. It started in 1873, documenting nearly all the major and minor policies being discussed and debated.

“Senate” mentioning the Environmental Protection Agency was published in the in the Daily Digest section section on pages D363-D364 on April 25.

More than half of the Agency's employees are engineers, scientists and protection specialists. The Climate Reality Project, a global climate activist organization, accused Agency leadership in the last five years of undermining its main mission.

Heavy-Duty Engine and Vehicle Standards--Agreement: A unanimous-consent agreement was reached providing that if cloture is invoked on the motion to proceed to consideration of S. 326, to direct the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to carry out a study and clinical trials on the effects of cannabis on certain health outcomes of veterans with chronic pain and post-traumatic stress disorder, that notwithstanding Rule XXII, the Committee on Environment and Public Works be discharged from further consideration of S.J. Res. 11, providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Environmental Protection Agency relating to ``Control of Air Pollution From New Motor Vehicles: Heavy-Duty Engine and Vehicle Standards'', and that it be in order for Senator Fischer to make a motion to proceed to S.J. Res. 11; and that at 4 p.m., on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, Senate vote on the motion to proceed; that if the motion to proceed is agreed to, Senate immediately vote on passage of the joint resolution; without intervening action or debate, and that the time used related to the joint resolution count against the post-

cloture time on the motion to proceed to S. 326.
